We Salute our National Flag and pledge our allegiance to the same.
Its honour and its glory depend upon the zeal and assiduity with which each one of us will shoulder his responsibility of a good citizen.
Its history written in letters of gold, inspires us to put in good work for the fair name of our Country.
We declare our unflinching loyalty to our National Flag and maintain that its course shall be our course and that each individual amongst us will make genuine efforts to add to its lustre and glory and make it fly proudly and high in the comity of nations.
When I attend my
Lions Club and break bread at the table,
I give a million thanks to God,
to know that I am able to meet there
with my friends, relax and play and sing,
to hear the speakers of the day,
the fine thoughts that they bring.
I realize that I have a part in caring
for the blind, also the under - privileged
Let's keep them all in mind now,
as we do our daily tasks. Pray God,
we do them greatly then.
Liberty and intelligence will be
Our Nation's Safety.
TO SHOW my faith in the worthiness of my
vocation by industrious application to the end
that I may merit a reputation for quality of service.
TO SEEK success and to demand all fair remuneration of profits as my just due, but to accept no profit or success at the price of my own self-respect lost because of unfair advantage taken or because of questionable acts on my Part.
TO REMEMBER that in building up my business It is not necessary to tear down another's; to be loyal to my clients or customers and true to myself.
WHENEVER a doubt arises as to the right or ethics of my position or action towards my fellow men, to resolve such doubt against myself.
TO HOLD friendship as an end and not a means. To hold that true friendship exists not on account of the service performed by one to another, but that true friendship demands nothing but accept service in the spirit in which it is given, AI WAYS to bear in mind by obligations as a Citizen to my nation, my state and my Community, and to give them my unswerving royalty in word, act and deed. To give them freely my time, labour and means.
TO AID my fellow men by giving my sympathy to those in distress, my aid to the weak, and my substance to the needy.
TO BE CAREFUL with my criticism and liberal with my praise; to buildup and not destroy.
